A rig is built around the work it controls.

Each of these pairs a renderer with the controls that medium actually needs. Everything you change stays in your browser until you export it.

SVG · shape, relief and motion

Contour bloom

Lobe count, amplitude and twist decide the silhouette. Layers and depth decide the relief. Edge softness is a cubic Bézier you drag, and the drawing follows it while you do.

Three.js · surface and animation

Tidal planet

A seed, a landform threshold, relief and detail build the surface, and the material carries it. A bounded study, sampled at the shared playhead so animated values read at the time you are looking at.

Vector · twenty-one layers, eight controls

Aperture poster

Gradients, an arc, a blur, a drop shadow and type, over twenty-one named layers. Eight controls are wired into it: the opening of the aperture, the blade count and turn, the ring weight, the accent, the title size and its tracking.

Vector · a document that carries its own controls

Aperture mark

A drawing with a rig bound to it: five controls wired to real element properties: a fill color, a stroke width, a node position. Edit the geometry or tune the parameters, and the same document answers both.

Scene · modelling and controls in one document

Paper lantern

The 3D twin of a vector rig. Transform channels, modifier parameters, materials, lights and camera can each be exposed as a control, and a modifier hands the control its own bounds.

Surface studies

Radius, elevation, tint and light angle on plain DOM. The same instruments that shape a mesh shape a box-shadow.

Type specimen

Size, weight, leading and tracking as one system instead of four isolated CSS values. Move the scale and read the whole page at once.

Adding your own.

A rig is a manifest, a renderer and a line in the registry. The workspace shell (inspector, timeline, snapshots, export) binds to it without knowing which rig it is.
